How's the Car?

Is the car you're trying to sell in good condition? You don’t want to falsely advertise your car or unfairly unload a vehicle onto someone that doesn’t properly run. It's important to be honest and make sure that the car is in fairly good condition.


You will find pricing your vehicle to be very important. Of course, you want to make money and not just give away the vehicle. However, you don’t want to set the price so high that it scares potential buyers. Know what your car is worth and become familiar with the prices offered by competitors.

Stand Out

There are two parts to this tip. First, you, as a seller, should stand out. This means that you need to be polite to all of your customers (i.e. dress appropriately, be approachable, answer all questions in a friendly manner, etc.). If you want people to trust you and the product you're selling, then be respectful.

Secondly, your car needs to stand out. Before you have potential customers over to look at and drive the car, it's important to make sure it's clean — on the inside and out. After all, the appearance of the vehicle will almost always be a huge selling point, at least in the beginning.

Make a Sale

Are you ready to make a sale? Though you may want to sell your car quickly, remember that it's a process — be patient and wait for the right customer.
