Looking Good When Traveling

Do you often travel for long periods of time and worry about how that distance can or will affect your appearance. Perhaps you’re driving to a location where you will be expected to look good or professional? Regardless, long distance traveling can strain the way you look. Therefore, we’ve put together some tips on how to look your best when being stuck in a vehicle for a while.

Plan Your Trip

To avoid extra stress, you should make it a point to prepare the night before. After all, if you’re feeling strained about forgetting a particular item, then this worry will most likely show on your face. Therefore, by planning ahead, you will feel more relaxed and at ease (i.e. your appearance should be fresh and calm).

Choose the Right Clothing

Of course, when traveling for long periods at a time, you want to dress comfortable. However, it’s possible to dress comfortable, but also stylish. For example, you can purchase fitted sweatpants. You may not consider sweatpants to be "professional," but a fitted pair can provide a completely different look. As well, try to wear a shirt that isn’t too form fitting, but then carry a sweater or jacket to class up your appearance. You may even be able to find a pair of jeans that are comfortable and stylish. You will also want to avoid wearing new shoes, as doing so could harm your feet.

Taking Care of Your Skin

When traveling, try to take care of your skin to help enhance your appearance. For example, try spritzing your face with water and/or carrying face wipes. Of course, you should never attend to your face or appearance while driving — make sure you’re pulled over. Also, carry breath mints and cologne/perfume to help ensure that you smell and feel your best.

Relax and Enjoy the Ride

When traveling for long periods of time, try to relax and enjoy the ride. After all, if you feel comfortable and at ease, this will be more inclined to show through your appearance. Though you may not feel that it’s necessary to be concerned with how you look when driving, you may be surprised the next time you’re required to look good or put together. As always, safe travels!

I loved taking Virtual Driver Ed Instructor. Not only was it simple to use, but it was also easy to understand. I couldn't believe how fast it was and I had no problem receiving my certificate of completion. I strongly suggest using this program.

Virtual Drive was fast, fun, and easy to use. I didn't think driver's education could be so convenient. Being able to start and stop whenever I needed to was a big plus. I would recommend this to anyone trying to complete driver's education!

I found the course to be full of new additional information I needed to be current on my knowledge of new laws and procedures. Additionally I feel it would not be a bad idea for most people to take this course as a brush up from time to time.

My son Adam was the one who took the course. He has some significant learning disabilities and this course was an outstanding option for him. He was able to do it at his own pace which was a tremendous help.

I just wanted to say that Virtual Drive was awesome! Especially with me being a busy mom going to school and stuff was hard to go into actual classes. Thanks, Kevin!
